Elm Creek, a community of 900, is located in Central Nebraska along the
Platte River Valley. Elm Creek is located on US Highway 30 and US Highway
183 and 1 mile north of Interstate 80.

Siren (Whistle) Key
1 whistle: fire dept. meeting
2 whistles: water shut off on South side of town
3 whistles: water shut off on North side of town
6 whistles: Fire/EMS call
One solid siren for 3 minutes: Tornado
Civil defense test 1st Thurs. each month sounds for 1 solid minute
